Great place for a picnic or just to stop and look at the sea. Or have a nice walk with plenty of benches. Also leads to Seaton Cliffs which is one of my favourite places to walk!

I'm a local man the Arbroath Cliffs are amazing place to visit, l went fishing there when I was young now I just park there and watch the lobster boats and read the daily papers
Reasonable amount of sea front parking spaces, adjacent to Victoria Park and with paved footpath to Arbroath Cliffs/Smeaton Cliffs. Public toilet in car park - basic and not terribly clean when we visited in late afternoon but perfectly usable. Plenty of seating around the park and benches are placed fairly regularly along the cliff top path.
If you like walking in nature this is a must visit. The clifftop nature trail is run by Scottish Wildlife Trust. Apart from a range of sea birds including gannets, you might catch sight of a pod of dolphins. In spring and summer the flora is very beautiful. But do observe the safety rules and stick to the well defined path.
